Setting Up A Fire Club
You may already be a member of a club or group that meet regularly and simply want to add a get-together around a fire as a regular feature.
If you want to set one up from scratch, you just have to decide what the purpose is and who you’re going to invite.
- Book Club
- Knitting Club
- Fireside Yoga
- Business meeting
- Brainstorming
- WI meeting
- Local folklore
- Poetry Club
- Storytelling
- Get-together with friends
- Voluntary group meeting
- Gardening Club
- Cookery Club
Start off with a couple of friends who share a similar passion. Decide a date, time and location, what you’re going to discuss and, most importantly, what you’re going to eat and drink.
If the idea catches on, agree a monthly meeting and encourage other people you know to come along. That would also be the time to set up a Facebook and Twitter page to let people know what you’re up to.
