Back to Certainly Blog

For many, the opening of pubs signals the return to normality and edging ever closer to when things will potentially be back to normal (well the new normal anyway, whatever that may be). For anyone in hospitality this day has been a long time coming. So with their doors reopening, here are a few of our local pubs that we work with that we can’t wait to get back to. Where will you be heading first?

Swan Inn (Letton)

The Swan Inn is reopening from 15th April and welcoming bookings to eat and drink. Recently fully refurbished, with new chef and team, the Swan Inn at Letton will be an ideal country pub to meet with friends and family over good food and see the finishing touches they've made to this centuries-old inn.

New Inn (St Owens Cross)

The New Inn, St Owen's Cross can't wait to open its garden – weather permitting – every Friday, Saturday and Sunday for outdoor drinks and glorious food from 16 April from 12pm to 5.30pm! The day before each planned opening they will confirm all systems go on their website and social channels. Message on Facebook or Instagram or email to book a table on the day of service only or take a chance and pitch up.

Felin Fach Griffin (Hay-on-Wye)

Felin Fach Griffin in Hay on Wye are delighted to have the green light to open in Wales, even if only outside, on 26th April. They’ll be opening for late breakfast and lunch every day and the garden open in the evenings for drinking and some gentle grazing, subject to weather. They even have a new head chef so systems are all go getting ready to welcome everyone back.
